Apple iPad
I watched the Apple Keynote today as they announced the iPad. I have been following the rumors for quite some time now, and I have to say my hopes were pretty high. I was expecting Apple to blow me away with something so out of the box that I wouldn't even believe. Now, when I look back and actually put reality into place, I realize I was asking too much. Nonetheless, during the keynote I was getting a little upset that certain things didn't happen. But once the presentation was done and I sat on the idea for about an hour, I basically had found about 10 reasons why I needed one. It's funny how that works. It's a pretty cool device and I'm really excited to see how this changes things in the tech world. I'm really excited to play with one, even if I can't actually afford to buy one. I'm hoping when they go on sale I'll find an extra $700 somewhere. We'll see.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas everyone! We are very blessed this year with our son Owen and all the new experiences that come along! We are celebrating his first Christmas this year with him and my family, and are having a very blessed day. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
6 Weeks with Owen
We hit Week 6 tomorrow with our son Owen!
Owen is doing great, he is gaining weight, he is now 10 lbs. 5 oz. and 24" long! He is showing all sorts of new expressions and getting stronger by the day.
I took a couple days off work and have really been enjoying being around with him.
Sarah is doing well, and getting out every now and then. Sarah wants to put up the Christmas tree today, because she says Owen wants it, but I doubt that.

I learned a new trick the other day. I can make my son disappear!

Halloween!
Things have been going really well with the family. I'm really blessed to have a son and spend time with him! I took some pictures this morning, so I thought I'd share them!
Going Home from Hospital
If you were here right now, this is what you would see. But, nevertheless and furthermore you are not, so I post this picture so that in the event you would say "I Wish I Was There" you could act like you were here and tell people "I Was There."
We are going home! Should be leaving around 11:00 am today. It'll be great to get home and be comfortable!

Baby in the mix Day #3
Owen is doing well today! So is Sarah. She is beginning to get around more and feel much better. We were able to back down her pain meds a little bit today too!
We will be going home in the morning (Wednesday the 13th) and getting him settled in his new home! It will take an army of people to get all our stuff outta the hospital room.
Look forward to his first car ride!

Owen – Day #2
Thanks everyone for all the prayers and thoughts! Sarah is doing much better today and we are all in love with Owen! We've had a few visitors here and there, which was a really great time. Our bonding is getting really special.
On a lighter note, I look forward to eating some pizza tonight! Maybe some mountain dew cupcakes at some point...
